September: Energy Resourcing has been appointed to support Rio Tinto, a leading international mining group with recruitment requirements for Guinea, Paris, Australia and Mozambique.

August: As gold reaches its highest price and interest from that sector of mining continues to grow, Energy Resourcing has employed a veteran mining engineer to bolster the specialist support it offers.

July: Energy Resourcing has been selected a preferred supplier to Flowserve. In response, we've employed new back office staff to support the recruitment team as a whole.

June: Due to increased demand, especially from the mining sector, Luke Farrow has been selected to join the recruitment team here at Energy Resourcing.

May: After being appointed a preferred supplier to Terangagold, Energy Resourcing will be designing, managing and providing specialist staff for a major power plant conversion project. In addition, we continue to support Terangagold with mining specialists.

April: We're delighted to be able to announce that we're now a preferred supplier to BHP Billiton, the world's largest diversified natural resources company. We are currently working with them on a major project they are undertaking, and we're looking forward to an ongoing relationship in the coming years.

March: Energy Resourcing attended the Energy Industry Council regional dinner in London on March 17th. The key speaker was Charles Hendry MP, Minister of State, DECC. The point he made that stood out to us the most was his explanation that the earthquake in Japan was 130,000 times more powerful than anything ever experienced in the UK, and the issue of nuclear safety in Britain needs to be looked at in that context.

February: Energy Resourcing attended the Energy Industry Council's Power Sector Forum in London this month. This is an event that attracts prominent figures in the business and we feel our attendence helps ensure we are up to date with current activities and future plans.

January: Energy Resourcing representatives will be attending the African Mining Indaba (conference) from 7th February. This meeting is the world's largest gathering of mining's most influential stakeholders and decision-makers vested in African mining.

November: Energy Resourcing is proud to announce it has achieved ISO 9001:2008. The certification was awarded by IMS International following a two stage audit of our Quality Management System. This was the culmination of a four month period during which we completely reviewed, streamlined and improved our operational processes. Our clients can be confident that Energy Resourcing is dedicated to maintaining the highest efficiency and responsiveness in achieving our ultimate goal - guaranteed client satisfaction.

November: We are very pleased to have been asked by Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Aberdeen, UK to recruit technical staff for their Verification and Certification Department. DNV is a global provider of Risk Management Services, with 300 offices in 100 countries and over 8,500 employees.

November: Energy Resourcing is now supplying AMEC, Kuwait. A FTSE 100 company with annual revenues of over £2.5 billion, AMEC is a supplier of high-value consultancy, engineering and project management services to the world's natural resources, nuclear, clean energy, water and environmental sectors.

October: We are very pleased to have been asked by Alfa Laval to recruit technical sale staff. Alfa Laval is a global company providing specialized products and engineered solutions for a broad range of applications - from food and water supply to environmental protection.

September: Energy Resourcing has won Preferred Supplier status with the Supreme Group. We will be providing assistance to the whole group (Central Services, Aviation, Support Services, Logistics, and Fuels) worldwide, especially in remote and difficult locations like Afghanistan and Iraq.

September: Energy Resourcing has become a preferred supplier for the National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC) in Abu Dhabi and the UAE. The NMDC is growing to meet increased demand for its services and we will be working to supply engineering personnel and supporting finance and administration staff.

August: As we find increasing demand to help our clients' operations in Iraq, we have recently started working with Iraq Business News to advertise relevant vacancies.

July: QinetiQ appoint Energy Resourcing a preferred supplier following last month's meeting.

July: Energy Resourcing now working with GE on filling engineering posts throughout Europe.

June: Last month saw Energy Resourcing enjoying its highest-ever turnover - perhaps an indication that the recession is finally ending. As a result, all the team are off to a celebratory go-kart race and supper shortly, part of a team-building event organised by the HR and Training department of our sister company, Anglian Resourcing.

June: Our relationship with ADAS, the UK's largest independent provider of environmental solutions, rural development services and policy advice, continues to develop. The next stage sees them selecting our graduates for their assessment centre.

June: Energy Resourcing has been asked to outline the services it is able to offer for Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction. This comes after Doosan completed the acquisition of the leading turbine manufacturer Ŝkoda Power.

June: QinetiQ a leading international provider of technology-based services and solutions to the defence, security and related markets, has invited the Energy Resourcing management team to a face-to-face meeting. This development comes after we successfully completed their 'Prequalification' stage, and we now have a Bid and Quality Manager, working on bidding for similar contracts and our ISO accreditation.

May: Powerworks, the premier provider of highly specialised UPS 'Plus' Solutions, came to Energy Resourcing for an equally specialised Internal UPS Technical Sales Executive. We were able to put forward a candidate for interview and he was offered the post, all within two days. Energy Resourcing have also now successfully completed the graduate recruitment drive requested by ADAS earlier this month.

May: Rolls Royce have asked Energy Resourcing for further assistance, specifically to recruit local nationals for projects in Africa. In response we have proposed a comprehensive recruitment strategy.

May: Energy Resourcing are now working with Edgen Murray, distributors of products used in the complete lifecycle of the energy infrastructure market in most of the world's more established energy producing regions.

May: ADAS, the UK's largest independent provider of environmental solutions, rural development services and policy advice, have asked Energy Resourcing to help with their graduate recruitment program.

Apr: OpenHydro, a world-leading specialist in renewable energy via marine turbines, has asked Energy Resourcing to find them a Project Manager for a new installation they are undertaking in Europe. Our world-wide network and connections mean we are ideally placed to source the right person for this exciting and cutting-edge post, and we're delighted to be working with such a world-class innovator in the world of renewable power.

Apr: After some weeks of detailed planning and referencing, Energy Resourcing's proposal for recruiting over 600 catering staff to support the US military in Afghanistan has been approved by Es-Ko.

Apr: With a UK general election announced, local MP David Ruffley has chosen to use Energy Resourcing in his campaign material to showcase how successful small businesses can thrive and expand, even during a recession.

Mar: Energy Resourcing Projects are opening a new office in Emmen, The Netherlands. The office will mainly manage ERP's supply of engine parts and form the main hub for the marine services division.

Mar: National Grid select Energy Resourcing to help them find specialist engineers for their 'Rewiring Britain' project. This major undertaking includes bringing the power from new wind farms into the national grid, as well as renewing the nation's now 60+ year old transmission systems.

Feb: Rolls-Royce Energy Systems has approved Energy Resourcing as a preferred supplier, a direct result of our ability to attract seemingly "impossible to find candidates" for posts in Central Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Our innovative - and exhaustive - recruitment methodology involves us taking a very proactive stance on behalf of our clients, not least Rolls-Royce Energy Systems. We are looking forward to continuing to supply Rolls-Royce with the candidates they need, throughout 2010 and beyond.

Feb: Energy Resourcing sign a €7m, five year Operation and Maintenance contract with mining company Crew Gold Corporation. Under the contract Energy Resourcing will be operating, maintaining and servicing the power plant for the supply of 36MW to the Crew Gold mining and processing operation in Guinea, West Africa. The contract follows on from Energy Resourcing's successful delivery of a total rehabilitation project for the existing Wartsila engines used in the operation. The project included the complete upgrade of the control and instrumentation systems from analogue to digital and the engines' conversion to heavy fuel oil. Energy Resourcing also commissioned all the auxiliary equipment.

Feb: MAN Diesel employs civils expert in Saudi and interviews 7 other candidates for their worldwide operations.
